Installing the Optical Drive
To install the optical drive:
1.
Make sure that the computer is off.
2.
Locate the optical drive bay on the left side of the computer.
3.
Gently place the computer upside down.
4.
Open the optical drive bay cover by pressing on both sides of the release
latch using your thumb and index fingers (
).
5.
Lift up the handle of the optical drive release knob and turn it
counter-clockwise (
)
6.
If a module (such as secondary battery pack) is inside, pull it out of the
bay.
