confirm your entry with DEL .
– It is not necessary to manually enter the date and time if your telephone company or
your private branch exchange transmits the actual time and date with the call. If you
have access to this service, these data will be updated with each external call. When
the telephone is in standby mode, date and time will be permanently updated inter-
nally. It is possible that slight deviations will occur regarding the time which will be
corrected when the next call comes in.
Setting the area code
You may input your own area code.

to select correct number of first digit, then press the DEL key
to shift to next digit. Do it so long until all digits are selected und then press DEL to
end the setting.
Setting the flash time
The next step explains how to set the flash time for your telephone. In Germany you
need a flash time amounting to 300 ms especially in order to make use of the T-Net
functions offered by your network provider. If you operate your ikarus telephone
from a private exchange branch, you normally need a flash time amounting of
approximately 100 ms.
Press the PROG key for two seconds if you are not yet in the programming menu and
then the DEL key several times until you will see FLASH ZEIT (FLASH TIME) on the
display.

Press the DEL key in order to confirm your selection. Depending on the way you wish
to use your telephone, you can set the correct flash time with the keys
