Power Setting
: The batteries are designed with a built-in

setting controller that are displayed in numerical form
ranging from 1 to
3
with
3
being the highest setting or power output. Push the UP button to raise the setting and
push the DOWN button to lower the setting. After selecting the desired power setting it will be displayed for 5
seconds before it will then
display the battery’s current power level or strength which is described below. Th
is
function is onl
y available when the battery is connected to a product.
Power level: The batteries are also equipped with a power level indicator that displays the battery strength in
numerical
form ranging form 1 to 9. When the level is at the lowest setting (1) it is in serious discharge and needs
to be recharged to prevent damage to the battery. When the battery is at the highest level (9) it is fully charged.
When not connected to a product hold down the UP or DOWN buttons to check your power level or battery
strength. When connected to a product and the desired power setting has been selected the power level will be
displayed after 5 seconds.
It can also be checked when disconnected from the garment by pressing the UP or
DOWN arrow.
Pairing Keyfob Remote to 5Ah and 10Ah Battery
1.
Ensuring battery is NOT connected to garment, press the two buttons either side of the LCD
display
simultaneously.
The LCD screen will show a flashing ‘A’

Press the RED/OFF button on the key-fob remote. The flashing ‘A’ will stop and the LCD screen will appear
blank. Your remote key-fob is now paired.

Connect the battery to your garment’s power input lead and press one of the heat settings on the remote.
The number selected will appear in the LCD display (you may hear an audible series of beeps). Failure to
connect the battery to the garment before pressing the key-fob will result in a flashing ‘F’ in the display.

To turn off the battery simply press the RED/OFF button on the remote, or disconnect the battery from the
garment

o replace the battery in the key fob remove the screw on the back.

Warranty Information
When you purchase this Gerbing’s battery within Europe, the electrical components of the battery
are warranted to be free
from factory defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of the initial purchase.
If you have a warranty claim, please return the battery together with the original receipt to Gerbing Heated Clothing for
inspection. Gerbing will replace, without charge, a battery found under normal use to be defective during the warranty period.
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
This limited warranty does not cover repairs by third parties, rips, scratches, tears, cracks and from abnormal use or
deterioration caused by ordinary wear and tear or exposure. It also does not cover damage caused by accident, abuse or
improper cleaning.
