Chapter 2  Mobile Cards and Mobile App 

GeoVision access control system GV-ASManager allows users to use smartphones to unlock 
doors. The 

mobile access control solution

 is carried out with virtual access card 

GV-Mobile 

Card

, QR code reader 

GV-QR1352

 and

 GV-Mobile Access app

.  

 

The mobile card can be regarded as a virtual access card. Similar as a physical access card, 
every mobile card represents a unique identification. Using GV-ASManager, the 
administrator edits access privileges for each mobile card and issues it to a user with GV-
Mobile Access app. If the user loses the mobile card, such as losing the phone containing 
the card or deleting the card from the phone, for security concerns, the same card cannot be 
re-issued by GV-ASManager. 

 

First of all, you need to purchase the mobile cards from GeoVision, and download them to 
GV-ASManager through Internet. Then GV-ASManager administrator sends verification e-
mails to users for activating the assigned mobile cards on smartphones. Once the mobile 
cards are activated, users can use dynamic QR codes generated on the mobile app to 
unlock corresponding doors.
