POWER SUPPLY
The unit comes with NiMH rechargeable battery pack. Alternatively 4 x C Alkaline batteries can be used. For
pemanent use connect the power supply to socket (6) and use the rechargeable batteries as buffer.
INSTALLATION OF BATTERIES
Open the battery compartment cover (2) and insert the rechargeable battery pack or 4 x C Alkaline batteries.
Ensure correct polarity. Close the cover. Before first use fully charge the battery pack.
If the power indicator lamp is blinking (LED next to socket 6), connect the power supply to socket (6) and
recharge the battery pack. The charging time is about 8 hours. For first time charging we recommend to charge
it for about 10 hours.
Max. operating time with rechargeable battery pack: 5 - 20 hours
Max. operating time with alkaline batteries: 8 - 30 hours
(Each depending on the number of laser diodes in use).
