Brake (please refer to page xx)

1. Front/Rear Brake Levers 

Inspect the free play of levers. Please check 
the brake at low speed. Adjust the free play 
if it is not correct. 

CAUTION
If the brake lever feels soft when operating, the 
brake system may have a problem. Do not ride 
the scooter before the problem is resolved. 

2. Brake Fluid (Disk Brake) 

Check the fluid level. Refill if necessary.   
Fluid spec:    FMVSS DOT3 or SAE J1703 

3. Disk Brake Pad 

Please refer to page xx. Please consult your dealer 
when the disk pads need to be replaced. 

Brake Fluid Leakage Inspection 

Hold the brake lever for a few minutes to 
check if there are any fluid leaks from the 
hose connector or master cylinder. 

CAUTION

Go to your Genuine Scooters dealer immediately if 
you find the brake fluid is leaking.    A leak could 
mean the braking system has a dangerous problem.
