  2) Start engine according to the engine owner’s manual.
  3) Press the trigger of high pressure gun to make sure water flowing out.
In emergency condition: Turn engine off.

5.4 Shut Down Procedure

1.

Release the trigger can stop the water flowing out. After did this, pls. engage the trigger safety lock to
avoid accidental “switch on”. Be careful when release the trigger gun, it has sudden recoil force about
28MPa for GW5401(C) series.

In emergency condition: turn engine off immediately .
2.

Turn engine off. See Engine Owner’s Manual. NOTE: NEVER turn the water off with the engine running.

3.

Turn water source off.

4.

Press trigger to release residual water.

5.

Disconnect all hoses used

6.

See storage section in this manual for proper storage procedures. Note: Let the engine cool and up to 30
minutes after use before touching.

5.5 Thermal Relief Valve:

If the machine is left running without the trigger gun being engaged for more than two minutes, the water
temperature will rise to a dangerous level and damage the internal components of the pump. In an effort to
prevent damage, pumps are equipped with a thermal relief valve. This valve will open when the temperature
rises too high. This valve will then release a gush of water in an effort to lower the temperature inside the
pump. Immediately after released the water, the valve will close.

5.6 THE UNLOADER VALVE

The machine is installed with one unloader, it can redirect the flow back to the inlet side of the pump when
the spray gun is closed. Without an unloader valve, dangerously high pressure will be produced when the
spray gun is closed because the water being forced out of the pump has no place to go. The unloader is used
