The TEG Controller board has a heartbeat, one of three L1, L2, or L3 indicators blinks when 

it is powered and operating with a supply voltage above 10Vdc. The board also has a low 

power sleep mode when there is no supply voltage, it is connected to the battery and sitting 

in standby or Lockout; the heartbeat is very short and less frequent to save battery power. 

Pressing the start button or display button will wake up the TEG Controller.
