8.1 Troubleshooting
Q:
I can hear TV audio, but I can’t see any video.
A:
Make sure you have connected the unit to a USB 2.0 port, and not a USB 1.1
port – the bandwidth of USB 1.1 is not enough for the TV stream to be displayed
properly.
Q:
I connected the USB cable to the unit and my computer, but my computer will
not recognize the new hardware.
A:
First make sure that the USB 2.0 port you are connecting to is active. Next,
make sure you are using the primary connection on the USB cable (see Chapter
3.2). Last, connect both the primary and secondary connection to your
computer.
Q:
I just started the DTV application, and there are no channels available.
A:
You need to scan for available channels the first time you start the application.
Click on the
Scan
button, select
Auto Scan
and your
Location
and click
Scan
to autoscan for channels. See section 4.2 for more details.
Q:
The Source button on the remote control doesn’t seem to work.
A:
The DTV application takes some time when switching between sources.
Q:
I can’t receive any EPG/Teletext information.
A:
EPG and Teletext information is not available on all channels.
Q:
How do I stop TimeShifting using the remote control?
A:
Use
the
Record/Stop
button on the remote to end TimeShifting mode.
