Power on fail with
battery (adapter OK)
1>. Check if the spring is deformed or
dirty
2>. Check if the soldering of battery
spring is good
3>. Check if power board
L403/L404/Q405/Q407 is cold soldering
4>. Check if U409 (initial using U408) is
cold soldering
Power on fail with
battery and adapter
1>. Check if POWER switch is good ,the
touch between Release soft board and
main board is good
2>. Check if the connection between
power board and main board is good
3>. Check if power board is NG
4>. Check if fuse F301/F302 is good
5>. Check if T301 is broken , voltage
output is ok
6>. Check if crystal X401/X402 is ok
7>. Change sub_cpu/U401
8>. Check if main board is NG
9>. UPDATE F/W, if it is fail, then change
U203
10>. Update OK, but camera still NG,
then change U201==>U202==>U101
Power system
Lens can't extend
after power on
1>. Check if the connection is between
lens flex board (17pins) and CN463
2>. Check if power board is NG
3
CHECK IF CN463 IS COLD
Charging is fail
1>. Check if battery is NG
2>. Check if U401/34pin is cold soldering ,
output is ok
3>. Check if U302 and round components
are short circuit or NG
4>. Check If Q317 is cold soldering and
NG
LCD display "battery
cover open " 1>. Check if battery cover SW701 works
ok
Display and
image system
LCD display not
match with mode dial

1>. Check if mold dial spring is deformed
or dirty
2>. Check Release flex board copper is
clean, no short circuit or broken circuit
