Before you start
Before you use your camera there are some basic settings to configure, which are
described here.
Setting the date and time
To set the date and time:
1. Turn the camera on as described in “Turning on
for the first time”.
2. Press and hold the MENU button to display the
main menu screen.
3. Use the Previous or Next buttons to select the
setup menu, as shown. Press OK/Set button to
confirm your selection.
4. Use the Previous or Next buttons to highlight
the Date & Time Setting option. Press OK/Set
button to confirm.
5. Use the Previous or Next buttons to alter values
in the selected field. Press the Playback/Display
button to move between fields such as year,
month, date and so on.
The year, month, hours, date, and minute format
fields are available for modification in this
manner.
6. Press OK/Set button to save the new setting.
Press MENU to exit the menu without making
any changes.
