1.
Unscrew and remove the three Phillips head screws
located on the motor, then remove the motor co-
ver .
2.
Pass the the blower device hose
through the hole
in the motor cover
and fit it securely onto the ho-
se barb located behind the motor propeller
.
3.
Re-install and secure the motor cover, using the 3
screws removed in step 1.
MITER GAUGE
The miter gauge rides in the table slot to the right of the
blade
and can be set to any angle up to 30° to the
left or right
.
It also acts as a feeder for advancing smaller work-
pieces through the sawblade with reduced risk of injury
to the hands.
A flexible blower tube which connects to the motor can be positionned so as to direct air againt the blade for pre-
venting accumulation of sawdust, thereby allowing the cutting line to remain well visible at all times while cutting.
Connect the blower device hose to the motor as follows:

POWER CORD HOOKS
When the bandsaw is not in use, we recommend that
the power cord be wound up neatly around the two
hooks
provided . This keeps the power cord off of the
floor and out of harms way. Attach the hooks with the
two Phillips head bolts to the threaded holes on the
back of the upper arm of the bandsaw
, as shown in
Fig. 17.
