EXT (Configurable)
•
Allows the user to enable or disable the External Contact alarm
function. This feature/control is not used within the CBS digital
receive system rack.

” alarm function to

Off
”.
Presets Menu
Currently not available.
Timers Menu
Entered by pressing the
Timers
key. This menu contains no configurable parameters and
simply displays the head end system time automatically.
Data Menu
Entered by pressing the
Data
key. This menu contains no configurable parameters and
simply displays the data service information.
ASY Data
•
Displays the Asynchronous Data Service information from the
selected virtual channel. This is an automatic function and if no
Async Data Service is available, “
Off-8N1
” will be displayed
under the “
RS232-CFG
” heading and the “
PID
” data field will
display ”----“.

Upon acquisition of the CBS satellite data service, the
“
RS232-CFG
” data field will indicate”
9600-8N1
”. “9600” is
indicative of the baud rate of the active data service.
Config Menu
Entered by pressing the
Config
key. With successive presses of the
Config
key, this menu
displays various firmware and hardware version numbers as well as system calibration sub
menus. The Configuration Menu is an aid when troubleshooting.
Save Menu
There is no menu associated with the
Save
key. Depress the
Save
key when illuminated to
save the current setting.
