If the choke was pulled to the CLOSED position to
start the engine, slowly push it to the OPEN position
as the engine runs smoother.
Engage the safety latch to the spray gun trigger
(Figure 10).
Attach the nozzle extension to the spray gun.
Tighten by hand (Figure 11).
How to Stop Your Pressure Washer
Move the throttle lever to the
Stop
position.
Squeeze trigger on the spray gun to relieve
pressure in the hose.
NOTE:
A small amount of water will squirt out from the
spray gun when you squeeze the trigger.
How to Use the Adjustable Nozzle
You now should know how to
START
your pressure
washer and how to
STOP
it. The information in this
section will tell you how to adjust the spray pattern and
apply detergent or other cleaning chemicals.
DANGER!
Never
adjust spray pattern when
spraying.
Never
put hands in front of nozzle to
adjust spray pattern.
On the end of your spray gun nozzle extension is a
nozzle that permits you to adjust the spray pressure
and pattern, as follows:
Slide the nozzle forward to adjust the spray to low
pressure mode, slide it backward to achieve high
pressure (Figure 12).
Twisting the nozzle adjusts the spray pattern from a
narrow pattern to a fan pattern Figure 13).
Point the nozzle down toward a hard surface and
press the trigger to test the pattern (Figure 14).
