ERROR/SERVICE
Record all steps taken when the service light comes on. Include recent events,
moves and what lights were on before the service light came on. This will help
your Genano service representative identify and solve the problem quicker.
If the normal operation is disturbed, the red
“ERROR/SERVICE”
light is continuously lit. If
the
“ERROR/SERVICE”
light is on then:
1. Check that there is water in the water container
2. Check that the basin door in closed
3. Perform power wash
If the
“ERROR/SERVICE”
light has still not gone out then reset unit (see instructions below).
If
“ERROR/SERVICE”
light is still on check the troubleshooting guide for a possible solution.
If no solution can be found then contact an authorised Genano service representative.
RESETTING PROGRAM SETTINGS
1. Switch the unit OFF and wait about 20 seconds.
2. Switch ON.
POWER WASH
The power wash function can be performed by using the power wash switch (check “c” op-
eration switches on page 5). This operation is useful if the air cleaning operation is inter-
rupted due to increased dirtiness of the collection surface. The flashing
“ERROR/SERVICE”
light illustrates the device is extremely dirty.
It is recommended that the power wash be performed every 6 months even if no opera-
tional problems have occurred.
Perform the
Power Wash
as follows:
1.
Empty the flush water basin and fill the wash water container before performing the
power wash.
2.
Press the power wash switch and hold it down until the 310 machine starts the wash cy-
cle (about 5 seconds)
The Power wash lasts about 5 seconds. Following the power wash the
“AUTOMATIC
WASH/DRYING”
light is on while the machine dries. The drying cycle can last a few
minutes or longer depending on how damp the machine is.
Do not open the door immediately after the wash cycle. Allow time for the washing
liquid to drain into the basin.
3.
Once the drying cycle is complete the unit will resume normal operation
