ATX CONNECT Result Code Format

ATX

determines whether or not the BGS2T transmits particular result codes to the TE. It also controls whether

or not the ME verifies the presence of a dial tone when it begins dialing, and if engaged tone (busy signal) detec-
tion is enabled.
