OPERATION

Install Quick Coupler Hydraulic Hoses

Contain  and  dispose  of  any  oil  leakage  in  an
environmentally safe manner.

NOTE: Images  shown  with  Geith  hydraulic  quick

coupler control kit installed.

Remove the hydraulic plugs.

Install the hydraulic swivels (1) 

[Figure 5]

 into the

hydraulic block. Tighten to 24 - 28 Nm (18 - 20 ft-lb).

Remove the hydraulic plugs.

Install the hydraulic hoses (1) 

[Figure 6]

 to the hydraulic

swivels and hydraulic cylinder. Tighten to 24 - 28 Nm (18
- 20 ft-lb).

The V1 port of the hydraulic cylinder will connect to the
hose of the hydraulic swivel that is connected to the A
port of the quick coupler control valve. The V2 port of the
hydraulic cylinder will connect to the hose of the hydraulic
swivel that is connected to the B port of the quick coupler
control valve.

NOTE: See SPECIFICATIONS on Page 5-1 for further

detail.

Enter the machine and start the engine.

At low idle, cycle the quick coupler locking cylinder using
the procedure as follows.

AVOID SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH

Always  keep  bystanders  away  when  operating  the
machine and quick coupler.
