Basic safety notes
Intended use
The Geberit Pluvia heater may only be
used with Geberit Pluvia roof outlets with a
ø 56 mm straight connector.
Use for any other purpose is deemed
improper. Geberit will not accept any
liability for any resulting damage.
User qualifications
The Geberit Pluvia heater may only be
installed by qualified plumbers or roofers.
The Geberit Pluvia heater may only be
connected by a licensed electrically skilled
person.
This device may be used by children aged
8 years and up as well as persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or a lack of experience with
and knowledge about the device, provided
that they are supervised or taught how to
use the device safely and that they
understand the hazards that may result
from this.
Children must not play with the
device. Children must not carry out
cleaning or user maintenance without
supervision. (In accordance with
EN 60335-1:2012/AC:2014)

instructions to be observed
WARNING
Electric shock
Incorrect installation can lead to
death or serious injuries.
▶ Switch off all mains circuits
before accessing the terminals.
▶ Install the heater with a 30 mA
residual-current device.
▶ Install the heater with an all-pole
disconnecting device with a
contact opening that complies
with the conditions of
overvoltage category III for full
disconnection.
▶ The heater should only be
connected by an electrically
skilled person.
• Before the installation, read through the
manual and follow the instructions.
• Before the installation, read through all
safety notes and follow the instructions.
• Keep the installation manual at hand for
reference during installation.
• Do not install any product that has visible
defects.
• Do not modify or convert the product
yourself.
• Ensure there is sufficient space and
lighting available during installation.
• In Germany, observe
DIN VDE 0100-100:2009-06.
• The Geberit Pluvia heater conforms to
EN 60335-2-83:2002 + A1:2008. It must
be installed professionally.
• Dispose of the Geberit Pluvia heater if
the mains connection cable is damaged.
• The country-specific regulations must
also be observed.
