Care and cleaning
The Geberit Monolith Plus sanitary module
is a high-quality, easy-care product.
Cleaning the Geberit
Monolith Plus

Wipe the cistern lid, glass and side
parts with a soft cloth and a mild
washing-up liquid that is kind to the
skin.

Dry the wet parts with a soft cloth.
Replacing the ceramic
honeycomb filter
Under normal odour extraction usage
conditions the ceramic honeycomb filter
has a service life of approx. five years.
If you perceive that the neutralisation of
odours is declining, replace the filter.

Grasp the cistern lid with both hands,
lift it up and fold it toward the front.

Remove the spent ceramic
honeycomb filter, dispose of it and
insert a new filter.

Close the cistern lid.
Geberit recommends the
Geberit AquaClean cleaning set
(article number 242.547.00.1) for
cleaning.
Do not use scratching sponges or
scouring agents for cleaning. We
also advise against the use of
cleaners containing solvent or acid,
limescale removers, vinegar and
cleaning agents containing acetic
acid. They corrode the surface and
can lead to discolouration.
