Removal Instruction (Removing GEARWRENCH Detachable Loop from GEARWRENCH Detachable Lanyard
1. Apply pressure and squeeze the GEARWRENCH modular buckle.
2. Slightly push the clasps of the GEARWRENCH modular buckle and then pull the GEARWRENCH Detachable Loop away from the
GEARWRENCH Detachable Lanyard
Installation Instruction on Carabiner to attach to tethering system:
1. Hold the full carabiner lanyard, with the lanyard end at the bottom
2. Using the knurling on the on the carabiner’s screw gate, turn the screw gate clock wise
3. Screw gate will unlock, push the gate forward and attached carbineer to tethering system connection point
4. Once carabiner attached to tethering system check connection point and security of the carabiner lock. If connection is not
secure or carbineer does not lock replace the single lock carabiner lanyard immediately.

- NEVER use GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyards to connect anything over 5 lbs. (2.26 kg)
- GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyards are Not Personal Protective Equipment
- Always use GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyards with the recommended length of tethering
accessories
- Do not use GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyards as part of a tethering system around moving or
rotating equipment
- GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyards will not support human weight as part of a tether connection
point
- Inspect GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyards for wear before each use. Do not use if evidence of
wear.
