The various parts of a song will be learned in
lessons 1-6, before learning the whole song in
lesson 7. Also, during the lessons, the instrument
will pick out those phrases that you are not so
familiar with during the learning process, and tailor
the practice to fit your progress. The following
prompt messages will appear on the display during
your learning:

During the intelligent learning mode, the display
shows the highest score of previous learning
challenges. Achieve a score of 80 or more points to
progress to the next lesson. If you score less than
80 points 3 times in a row, the system will replay the
current phrase to help you familiarise yourself to it.
During lessons 1, 3 and 5, the focus will be on
melody pitch. After using the data dial or [-/NO]
and [+/YES] buttons to select a song to be learnt,
the keyboard will display “Play A” and play the first
phrase to be learnt. Each note will be displayed on
the relevant staff when played. Next, the display
will show “Try A” indicating it is your turn to recite
the phrase. If the incorrect note is played, the
intelligent learning system will stop the song and
resume when the correct note is played. After the
phrase is completed, the display will show your
score, with scores of 80 or higher allowing progress
to the next level.
During lessons 2, 4 and 6, the focus will be on
timing as well as pitch. If you repeatedly score less
than 80 points, the system will reduce the tempo
of the period/phrase being learnt to enable slower
practice. Scoring over 80 points will revert to the
original tempo.
Lesson 7 will focus on learning full songs, and
lesson 8 is a high score challenge to try and perfect
your performances.
