PERFORMANCE
ASSISTANT
The keyboard features a “performance assistant”
mode, featuring both guitar and piano options, and
allows various complex chord phrases to be easily
performed.
Hold down [SHIFT] and then press the [PERFORM]
button to enter the performance assistant mode.
Use the data dial or the [-/NO] and [+/YES] buttons
to select between guitar and piano options.
The default time signature is 4:4, which can be
changed to either 2:4, 3:4, or 6:8 in the function
menu.
Use the TEMPO [
˅
]/[
˄
] buttons to adjust the tempo,
as required.
GUITAR KEY MAP
This key map diagram shows how the different key
sections are arranged in the guitar mode.
CHORD PART:
Keys C2-B3. The chord played in this zone will be
shown on the display.
SUB AREA 1:
Keys C4-B4 (white keys only.) Pressing a key in
this zone will start a “broken chord” (the notes
in a chord played successively, rather than
simultaneously).
SUB AREA 2:
Keys C5-A5 (white keys only). Solo zone, allowing
you to play freely and simulate the 6 strings of a
real guitar.
RHYTHM AREA:
Keys C6-G6. This zone allows you to play various
rhythm styles, including guitar strums. Keys A6-B6
will play rhythm endings.
POSITION CHANGE:
Key C7 allows you to change the guitar voice
between low and high positions. “Performance
Low” or “Performance High” will be indicated on.
