Getting started:

 

Plug the power cable into the back of the unit 
and then into the mains supply.

 

To activate the speaker, use the power switch 
on the back of the unit.

 

To select the mode, press the MODE button 
on the speaker or on the remote control. 

N.B. When using the HouseParty AirWave for 
the first time, follow the instructions on the 
screen to set up time and network access.

For use with  

iPod / iPhone:

 

Select and insert the correct docking adapter 
to suit your iPod / iPhone.

NB: Please ensure that you use the correct dock 
adapter for your iPod / iPhone to avoid damage 
to the dock connector. If the specific adapter is 
not included, please use the correct adapter 
available from Apple with your iPod / iPhone. 
GEAR4 will not be responsible for any damage 
resulting in not using a dock adapter. 

 

When docking your iPod / iPhone, you will be 
prompted to change to iPod mode.

 

Alternatively press the MODE button on the 
speaker, or remote control until iPod is 
displayed on the screen.

 

If your iPod / iPhone was switched off, it will 
turn on and automatically start playing.

 

Use the   button on the speaker or the INFO 
button on the remote control to choose 
between displaying the song title, artist name, 
album title, play time, date or authentication 
confirmation on the screen of the speaker. 

 

To navigate your iPod / iPhone menu, 
short-press the MENU button on the speaker 
or remote control. Press SELECT to confirm.
