To power off the thermometer,
hold the measure button
for five (5) seconds or wait
15 seconds for the auto
shutoff feature to power off
the thermometer.
NOTE:
The thermometer will automatically default back to body
mode each time it powers off.

Using the Truvitals App
This thermometer is compatible with devices running iOS 8.0
and above or Android 4.3 and above. Keep the thermometer
within at least 10 feet of your device to get the best result in
establishing and maintaining a proper connection.
1.
Open the settings in your
smartphone or other smart
device and make sure Bluetooth
®
is turned on.
2.
Download the
Truvitals App
from
the
App Store
®
or
Google Play™
.
3.
Open the
Truvitals App
and create
a new account (if you are using
this app for the first time).
4.
Press the measure button on the
thermometer to power it on.
5.
Once the app is open and device is
on, the app and thermometer should
automatically pair together. The
Bluetooth
®
symbol in the app should
turn green when pairing is complete.
6.
If the app and thermometer don’t
automatically pair together, go to
your Bluetooth
®
list in your phone
settings and select the thermometer.
Once pairing is established, a
message saying "Thermometer
connected" will appear in the app.
