To access the display board, remove the two Phillips
screws at the back of the tabletop cover. Lift the rear
slightly and pull the cover forward to clear the front lip.
Door
The door is available only
as an assembly. It
consists of three panes
of insulated glass, the
frame and door lock. The
lock is a part of the door
assembly and is not
serviceable. The door
is reversible. Refer to
the Owner’s Manual
(49-60201) for door
reversal instructions.
Door Gasket and Stop
The door gasket is a push-in style with a retaining
barb. It fits into a channel on the door frame. The stop
is held at the bottom of the door by two Phillips
screws. It allows the door to open to approximately
130
°
.
Light Bulb Circuit
The light is located in the ceiling at the front edge of
the cabinet. A light shield covers the bulb and is
attached by two Phillips screws. The bulb plugs
straight into the socket. It is a standard 5 watt, 12VDC,
available as WR02X11280 or at most automotive stores.
GASKET BARB
AND CHANNEL
NOTE:
Do NOT use a bulb greater than 5 watts or
damage to the main board will occur.
Pressing the Interior Light pad on the display board
energizes a relay on the main control board in the
machine compartment. To test this circuit, check for
12VDC at CON3 on the main board. To test the wiring
harness, socket and bulb, look for approximately
3.6 ohms between the black and red wires when the
connector is removed from CON3.
Display Board
The indicator lights and pad switches for the control are
mounted to the display board. This display board is
referred to as a
tactile control since mechanical
switches are used rather than a touch membrane and
ribbon cable. The board receives 12VDC, but the majority
of components on the board operate on 5VDC. There are
two wiring connections. One five pin connector is routed
to the main control board in the machine compartment.
A second two pin connector is for the thermistor
mounted inside the cabinet on the back wall.
