MobileView 4 testing

Your MobileView 4 system is preconfigured for 12 cameras at 10 fps per camera, dual-
channel audio, and a panic button on input 1. Configuration tasks require setting numerous
variables and parameters to meet customer and installation requirements. When you set and
save these tasks, you may test the system.

MV4 monitor program

The DVR contains the MV4 Monitor program. This useful utility has many low-level
diagnostic capabilities that are beyond the scope of this manual. Others are entirely relevant
and useful for testing DVR functionality.

To open the MV4 Monitor program, do the following:

1. Establish a remote desktop session.(See

Remote desktop connection

2. Stop the

DVSS Server

service.

3. Locate and open the

MV Monitor

program on the remote desktop (

).
