CONVERT TOP BURNER VALVES
NOTE:
Only valves
with these types of
knobs are adjustable.
1. Turn all top burners to LOW.
2. Remove all four knobs.
3. With a small flat blade screwdriver, turn the
valve set screws clockwise to decrease flame
size, counterclockwise to increase flame size.
Adjust until the flame is about the same height
as the top of the burner.
4.
Replace knobs.
5. Check for flame outage by opening and
closing the oven door several times. If the flame
goes out, increase the flame size.

ADJUST THE SURFACE BURNER
(for models equipped with standing pilots)
through the
small hole near the center
of the manifold panel.
3. To adjust, use a blade-type screwdriver with
a shaft diameter of less than 3/16”. Turn pilot
screw until pilot is 5/16” high. D

not reduce the flame to less than 5/16” or
may occur. A pilot flame burning higher
than recommended may generate soot (carbon
black) on the bottom
