Read these instructions completely and carefully.
Freezer Location
Your freezer should be conveniently located for
day-to-day use in a dry, well-ventilated room.
Do not install the freezer where the temperature will go

Do not install the freezer in a location exposed to rain
water or direct sunlight.
Be sure to install your freezer on a floor strong enough
to support it when it is fully loaded.
Level Freezer

Lid Removal
CAUTION
HINGE SPRING UNDER TENSION
If it is necessary to remove the lid, follow these steps:
1. Remove the lower part of the hinge cover and then
remove the upper part.

3. Remove the 4 screws from the upper part of the hinge
and lid. The 16' freezer has 3 hinges and the 22'
freezer has 4 hinges total.
