2.6 Installing the First Nozzle

IMPORTANT:

It is essential that the nozzle is set up and fixed in position using the jig and 1-in. threaded rod provided,
prior to welding the nozzle.

1.

Screw the threaded rod into boss that is welded onto the pipe. If necessary, remove the washer and nut from the
threaded rod.

2.

Insert the pipe section of the jig into the pipe section of the nozzle and fasten using four studs and eight nuts (not
supplied).
