answering a call. The setting (2, 4, Toll Saver) is selected with a switch
located on the side of the base.

Toll Saver saves you the cost of making a call when you access your
messages from another phone:

• If you have new messages, the unit answers after the second ring.

• If you have no new messages, the unit answers after the fifth ring.

You can hang up after the third ring and save the pay telephone or long
distance charge.
