1. If the line cords are already
connected, disconnect them from the
base unit.
2. Use a screwdriver to pry up the
battery compartment door on the
bottom of the phone.
3. Insert 3 AA-size alkaline batteries as
shown on the diagram in the battery
compartment.
4. Snap the battery compartment door
back into place.
5. If the line cords were previously
connected, re-attach them to the unit
and check your memory locations.
NOTE:
If the low battery icon appears in
the display, you need to replace the
batteries. It is important that you replace
them as soon as possible in order to
maintain unit operation when AC main
power is off. As a precaution, you may
want to write down any stored
information you do not want erased.
IMPORTANT:
If you’re not going to use
the telephone for more than 30 days,
remove the batteries because they can
leak and damage the unit.
