Recording a memo

Memos are your own recorded messages used as reminders for 

yourself or others using the same answering system.
1.   Position yourself about 1 foot away from the microphone on 

the telephone base, then press and hold 

memo

.

2.   Release the button after the beep. Speak clearly towards 

the telephone base while recording your memo (up to 2 

minutes).

3. Press 

memo

 to stop recording.

Security code for remote access

You can listen to messages and change answering system settings when you 

are away from home.
Your answering system allows you to program a 4-digit security code to get 

access to the system through any touch-tone telephone. The default security 

code is 0000.
To change the security code:
1. Press

ok

 to select

SECURITYCODE

 and then press 

ok

. The handset shows the default security code or the 

old security code.
