The following procedures for the handset can ONLY
be done with a Model 21098A handset. If you are using an optional Model
21009A handset, please refer to the Section “21009A Optional Handset
Additional Instructions” in the latter part of this User’s Guide.
Storing A Name and Number in Phone book on Handset
1. Make sure the phone is
OFF
(not in talk mode).
2. Press the MENU button to scroll to
PHONE BOOK
.
3. Press SELECT button to access the phone book setting.
PHONE BOOK
shows on the display.
4. Use the

buttons to scroll to
ADD RECORD
.
5. Press SELECT button to confirm.
ENTER LOCATION
shows on the display.

6. Press the desired memory location button (01 through 50 number keys).
7. Press SELECT to confirm.
NOTE:
If the memory location is occupied, the stored name and number
displays along with “REPLACE?”. Press the SELECT button to confirm or you
may press the *exit button to cancel the entry
