out of the iron.
Iron won’t steam.

on clothing.

or twisted.
THINGS TO CHECK
• Is the iron plugged in and the Auto Shutoff Reset
Button/Light on? If not, press the Auto Shutoff Reset
Button/Light to turn the iron back on.
• If the iron is plugged in and the light does not come on,
check the outlet by plugging in a lamp.
• Is the Temperature/Steam Dial turned to a fabric setting?
• If you over filled the water tank, empty some water.
• Is the Temperature/Steam Dial in the steam range and
did the iron have enough time to preheat?
• If ironing for more than one hour the auto shutoff may
have turned the iron off. Press the Auto Shutoff Reset
Button/Light to turn the iron back on.
• Is there water in the water tank?
• Is the Temperature/Steam Dial set in the steam range
and did the iron have enough time to preheat?
• Has the iron been cleaned with the self-clean feature?
The steam vents may be blocked.
• ALWAYS empty the water tank of the iron after using.
Water left in the tank may discolor.
• Clean the steam vents as instructed in the “Self-Clean
System” section.
• Unplug iron and let cool. Hold iron cord in the middle
of entire length. Let plug and iron dangle freely until
cord uncoils. This will extend the life of your iron cord.
5.
Wrap cord loosely around cord wrap
and set on heel.
If you have the
retractable cord fea-
ture, use the reel to
wind and store the
cord as described in
the “Retractable Cord” section. Never
store iron sitting flat on the soleplate.
This will damage the inside of the
soleplate. Always store iron on its heel
in upright position.
