VIEW MESSAGES
The
Inbox
displays messages that your pager has received. It shows the first 14 characters of
each message and displays the newest message first.
Unread messages will show an asterisk in the first column. This will disappear after the
message has been read (by moving the highlight to it and pressing the
Select
button). A
message which has been partially received or contains an error, will show a question mark in
the first column. See example of symbols in the first column below (Figure 4.5-1).

If the
Inbox
is empty,
‘No messages’ will display in the centre of the screen.

To view the full message (Figure 4.5-3), use the
Up
or
Down
Navigation Button to highlight the
desired message, then press the
Select
button.
When the full message is displayed, you can simply scroll to the next or previous message by
pressing the
Left
or
Right
Navigation Buttons.
When viewing the message, the
Menu Bar
shows the date and time the message was received.
To return to the
Inbox
, press the
Select
button again.
