Scrambler Setting
An analog voice inversion scrambler can be equipped
as optional� This special audio process can offer a more
confidential communication� Other radios at same
frequency will receive only disordered noises�
1� Press
key till the LCD display appears “FUN” on the up-left cor-
ner� Then press
key to enter the menu mode�
2� Press
key till “SCR” appear on LCD
display under menu 008�
3� Rotate the Channel Selection Knob to choose a setting:
ON: scrambler is enabled;
OFF: scrambler is disabled�
4� Press
key to confirm and exit�
Voice Compander Setting
Enable this function to reduce background noise ad
enhance audio clarity, especially in long distance
communication�
1� Press
key till the LCD display appears “FUN” on
the up-left corner� Then press
key to enter the menu mode�
2� Press
key till “COMP” appear on LCD display under
menu 009�
3� Rotate the Channel Selection Knob to choose a setting:
ON: Voice compander is enabled; OFF: Voice compander is disabled
4� Press
