Water conditions may require more frequent filter cartridge replacement.
Filter service is to be performed every 3-4 months and membrane service is to be performed 18-24 months using
only Global filters and/or parts.
It is the responsibility of store operator to arrange service appointments or ser-
vice the equipment to maintain warranty.
1.
Turn ball valve off on water line going to city in by turning blue lever 90º degrees.
2.
Turn green pump ON/OFF switch on front panel to off position, light will turn off. Filter in, filter out and system
pressure gauges should go down to zero, if not run water at water tower to release water pressure.
3.
Remove old filters by turning to the left and then by pulling down. The filters have a tight fit so when removing
also wiggle the filter.
4.
Discard all filters in waste receptacle; recycling of filters is also available by returning them to global.
5.
Remove blue cap on new filter and line up notches on filter to match placement on head, push up snugly and
turn to the right to lock. Repeat for all other filters you are installing.
6. Turn the ball valve on water line going to city in by turning blue lever 90º deg.
7.
Check filter in gauge, it should go back up to 60+ psi.
8.
Check filter out gauge, it should read similar to filter in gauge.
9. Turn Pump ON/OFF switch to on position, the switch will light up. System pressure gauge should go up to 60 psi.
10. Verify that there are no leaks. Filter change is now complete.
In some emergency situations it will be necessary to put the unit into bypass mode so that you will still be able to
supply water to the
points of use
(brewer, espresso, etc.)
Emergency situations which require putting the bypass
handle into the bypass position are:
• System pressure gauge reads below 35 for an extended period of time.
• If a severe leak, or unusual noise, such as the pump motor, is noticed. See Troubleshooting Guide.
Put the Easy System into bypass by:
1. Turn the yellow handle located on the front panel counter-clockwise towards bypass.
2. The valve that is going from the water out to the ice machine will need to be turned 180º. Match with picture below.
Note: Tank will not refill while in bypass. System pressure will read zero psi.
