15 -In the following steps you will move or mount items. Connect
only new wires specified in the following steps. Route new wires neatly through
the plastic wire channels.
16 - Locate and mount the new main motor drive PCB. Use the two mounting
studs previously indicated in green on drawing O64TH- KIT1. Reconnect
Signal, Power, Fuse and Motor wires. At this point CN8 P_RES will be blank
and DC 1 will be blank.
17 - Mount the 3 1/2 inch piece of aluminum heat sink. Use double sided tape
to the PCB Plate and two screws to the main motor PCB
18 - Locate the coil OC5727CT. Slide the bottom tab under the wire channel
and use one screw in the top tab at existing hole. Route the coil wires through
the wire channel and connect the coil to main motor PCB CN9 COIL.
19 - Cover the exposed aluminum at he top of the kit with two layers of box
shipping tape. Trim away excess tape.
20 - Using existing screw holes, rotate and move the transformer and the filter
as shown in the picture. The filter may only mount with one screw. Be sure
the filter is grounded well to the laminator frame.
21 - Mount the kit plate to the laminator PCB plate using a hole and screw from
the mounting of the aluminum heat sink that you removed in step 11 on
Drawing O64TH- KIT1. Put a piece of double sided tape under the kit plate
at the bottom and the screw through hole number 3. Notice in the picture
how the kit plate tucks under the main motor drive PCB. Also notice at the
lower left corner of the kit plate how the edges of the kit plate fit just inside
of the edges of the laminator PCB plate If the existing hole is stripped or
does not allow this fit of mounting, drill through the laminator PCB plate and
use a screw and nut for mounting. This will allow the electronics area metal
cover box to fit back into place when you are all done.
22 - Connect the upper Resistor to the main motor PCB cn8 p_res
