To fill the vasculature for the femoral access, follow steps outlined in the
Intraosseous Access section:
The femoral access is part of the same fluid system as the IO access.
4.4 Systemic
Gastrostomy Port
The simulator includes a gastrostomy
opening to drain the stomach fluids
that were introduced through the
esophagus.
Tank Capacity
Stomach 100 mL
Draining the Stomach Reservoir
1. Open the clamp on the hose
located on the right side of the
simulator
2. Let the contents drain into
a container
3. Pull to remove the gastrostomy
plug
