Replacing the hard drive kit
To replace the hard drive kit:

Create a Drivers and Applications Recovery disc using the procedure found in the Using
Gateway System Recovery online guide. To access this guide, click

Print the Using Gateway System Recovery online guide for use in Step 8 .

Back up any data you want to transfer to the new hard drive. For more information,
see “Backing up files” in
Using Your Computer which has been included on your hard

Complete the steps in “Preparing the notebook” on page 6 .
