Resetting Your System
If your computer does not respond to keyboard or mouse input, you may
need to reset the system.
1.
Press
C
TRL
+A
LT
+D
EL
. A window opens that enables you to close an
application that is not responding.
2.
Click
Task Manager,
select the program that is not responding, and
click
End Task.
3.
If your computer does not respond
,
press the power button on the
computer. The computer turns off.
4.
Wait a few seconds and then press and release the power button to turn
on the computer.
Because you did not shut down your computer following the proper
procedure, you may be prompted to scan your hard drive for errors.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
