To transfer files from your camera to your computer using My
Computer:

If you are using Windows 98SE, make sure that you have
installed the USB device driver for the camera. For more
information, see “To install the Windows 98SE USB driver:” on
page 63.

Connect the small rectangular end of the USB cable to the
camera’s
A/V Out port, then connect the other end of the cable to your
computer.

Turn the camera on. A message tells you that new hardware was
found.

Turn the mode dial to
PC
mode. A
message tells you that new pictures
have been detected on a removable
drive.
