Shutting Down the System
1.
Halt, stop, or cancel any active processes or tasks being performed by
the operating system of the system drawer being shut down.
2.
If appropriate, issue a "flush" command to write the contents of any
caches or buffers to disk.
3.
If appropriate, issue a command to exit or quit the operating system.
4.
Press the ON/OFF switch on the system drawer. If the system drawer
has other drawers connected to it exclusively and will remain off at
length, you may want to power down the other drawers as well.
