Installing Your Gateway Server into a Rackmount Cabinet

Securing the server in the cabinet

Tools you need to complete this task:

4 screws (provided by the rackmount cabinet manufacturer)

To secure the server in the rackmount cabinet:

1

Close the back door of the rackmount cabinet, then lock it if necessary.

2

Push the server back into the cabinet until the rackmount handles press 
against the cabinet’s front vertical mounting rails.

3

Install screws, supplied by the rackmount cabinet manufacturer, into the 
four mounting holes on the rackmount handles.

4

Close the front cabinet door, then lock it if necessary.
