Replacing the system board

Remove the modem cable from the old system board and install it on the
new board.

Place the new system board into your notebook.

Replace the four system board mounting screws and the five system board
mounting hex nuts.
Hex nut numbered holes 3 and 4 use the “long” hex nuts and hex nut
numbered holes 7, 10, and 12 use the “short” hex nuts.

Replace the six rear I/O panel hex nuts.

Connect the speakers.

Reassemble your notebook.
