Replacing the LED indicator panel

If the notebook has IEEE 802.11 wireless networking built in, slide the antenna cables
away from the LED indicator panel EMI shielding.

9

Remove the three screws that secure the LED indicator panel shield to the notebook.

Caution

The bottom screw also secures the cable for the modem
and the grounding wire for the wireless networking antenna
cables. Be careful not to damage the connectors or the
wires when removing this screw.
