Appendix A – MA-311 Module Adapter for the
VF-40 Module
The VF-40 voice module must be installed with an MA-311 module adapter. The MA-311 accepts a 50-
pin connector, Amphenol 57-30500 or equivalent (Figure A-1).

Pins 25 and 50 are signal ground. The M-input leads have a negative voltage and connect internally to
–V through the input detector (Figure A-2). Grounding the input triggers the internal sensor.
