Why is cleaning of the fuel system important?
Over time carbon deposits in the combustion chamber commonly occur when the engine
does not burn the fuel completely. As a result this may cause malfunctions, wear and poor fuel
economy. Coke deposits can also cause engine knocking as deposits inside the combustion
chamber become red-hot and ignites the fuel before spark ignition occurs.
Contamination is very harmful to the engine and especially it’s performance! If the spark plugs
are removed before the application of GAT Petrol System Cleaner PLUS you can often see that
they are sooty. This soot causes the spark to weaken resulting in the fuel ignition to be less
effective.
