Make sure to use Gastroback Cleaning Tablets 97830.
DECALCIFYING
After regular use, hard water can cause mineral build up in and on many of the inner
functioning components, reducing the brewing flow, power of the machine, and affec-
ting the quality of espresso. We advise decalcifying the machine on a regular basis
using Gastroback Cleaning Tablets 97830. Follow the instructions provided, or use the
following as a guide:
WARNING:
Do not immerse power cord, power plug or aplliance in water or any
other liquid. The water tank should never be removed or completely emptied during
decalcifying.
DECALCIFYING THE MACHINE
• Remove the portafilter. Pour the mixture of water and Gastroback Cleaning Tablets
97830 into the water tank.
• Plug the machine into the power outlet.
• Press the POWER button to the on-position.
• Place a large container under the group head and steam wand.
• When the brewing temperature has been reached all the button surrounds on the con-
trol panel will illuminate. Press and hold the one cup or two cup button to commence
manual pour. Release the button once half the mixture has run through the group head.
