If you are not satisfied with the results, we hope that the following will
answer your questions and problems.
How do I switch the GASLIGHT
®
on and off?
+ You can install a standard switch between the required 12 / 24 Volt line.
Important: The switch must not be located in the gas bottle locker.
+ You can take the required 12 / 24 Volt from the light control of your
caravan. This will mean that the GASLIGHT® will light up as soon as you
switch on the light inside your caravan.
What do I do if one or more of the LEDs on the GASLIGHT
®
malfunctions?
+ Never open the casing of the GASLIGHT®; contact our Service Desk.
Can I also use the GASLIGHT
®
outside my gas bottle locker?
+ Of course you do not have to install the GASLIGHT® in your gas bottle
locker. We provide an optional 230 Volt plug-in power supply unit for
installing your GASLIGHT® in a non-intrinsically safe area.
Can I also use the GASLIGHT
®
outdoors?
+ Because the GASLIGHT® is waterproof, you can also install it outdoors.
Please note that the power supply unit may not be installed outdoors
and must not come in contact with water.
Can I extend the cable between the light and the intrinsically
safe power supply unit?
+ The cable between the light and the intrinsically safe power supply unit
be extended to up to 13 meters (42.5 feet).
Can I use the light without the intrinsically safe power supply unit?
+ You can use the light without an intrinsically safe power supply unit using
a 5V DC supply. However, in this case the light should not be used in
areas where there is an explosion hazard.
